The winners for Senator Smith’s South Australian Colouring Competition 2020 have been announced with some fierce competition from some of the youngest budding South Australian artists.
The 2020 competition was announced early July with two categories for submission. There was a junior primary design and a primary design for the older kids.
Senator Smith’s South Australian Colouring Competition is an opportunity for young kids from around South Australia to put their imagination and creativity to work and show off their artistic talents.
This year’s theme was South Australian Animals.
There was one winner for the primary category – 8-year-old Soundhariya from Collinswood was a front runner with her bright, colourful and creative entry taking out the prize for her year level.
The junior primary category was locked in a three-way tie between Navarro from Newton and Andrew and Ella from Athelstone taking out the prize in their year level for some highly accurate and beautiful entries.
“It was a pleasure to discover so many artistic young students in our state of South Australia and be able to award their fabulous efforts,” said Senator Smith.
“A very big congratulations to Soundhariya, Navarro, Andrew and Ella on their entries and wins for 2020. I look forward to all the entries for next year!” Said Senator Smith.
