$1.25m worth of new facilities for staff and students at Tyndale Christian School
Murray Bridge
Staff and students at Tyndale Christian School Murray Bridge will benefit from the construction of a new administration centre.
The new centre will include: a reception area, student services area, IT support services, a withdrawal room, a sick room, administration offices, a uniform shop, a kitchen, meeting rooms, and staff and student amenities.
Senator for South Australia Don Farrell said work on the $1.25m project will be delivered with the support of Australian Government through the Capital Grants Program.
“These new facilities will provide staff, teachers and students at Tyndale Christian School
with better, more modern spaces in which to work, teach and learn,” Minister Farrell said.
“The Australian Government is committed to providing all schools with appropriate funding
so that all students, including those at the Tyndale Christian School in Murray Bridge, get
the best possible education.”
Senator Marielle Smith, Senator for South Australia, said the new facilities will benefit the
students currently at Tyndale Christian School Murray Bridge, as well as the many students
who will follow in future years.
“The teachers, staff and students at Tyndale Christian School Murray Bridge have built a
strong and positive school community and these new facilities will further enhance local
educational opportunities,” Senator Smith said.
“Our Government strongly believes in providing the best possible resources so that local
students can realise their potential and develop the skills they need to go on to further study
or to find a job.
“I congratulate Tyndale Christian School Murray Bridge on their successful grant application
and look forward to seeing the positive impact these new facilities will have on the school
community.”
This announcement follows the opening of a Wellbeing and Learning Support Centre at
Tyndale Christian School, formally opened by Senator Smith, last month. The improved
facilities at the Murray Bridge campus of Tyndale Christian School will continue to support
students as they strive to reach their potential, in this vibrant community.
